Financial Empowerment and Entrepreneurial Venture Creation among NGOs’ Beneficiaries in Kwara State, Nigeria: An Empirical Investigation

The NGOs place much emphasis on the provision of diverse relevant training, counseling, mentoring, and financial empowerment in cash equipment grants, loans, subsidies that made little or no impact lives beneficiaries economy. Hence, this study examined entrepreneurial venture creation among NGO Kwara State, Nigeria. A survey was carried out employing simple random sampling technique to select 358 respondents from a total 5,354 frames NGOs’ State. Data analysis performed using descriptive inferential statistics. results indicated contributes significantly beneficiaries. It further revealed loans offered by have positive creation, while grants an inverse creation. study, therefore, suggests other things management should scrutinize business plans properly before giving so only viable innovative ideas will be funded.
